Dr. Tolentino completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), earning a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences in 2017. He pursued his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Midwestern University in Arizona, graduating in 2020.
Born in the Philippines and raised in a hardworking immigrant family, Dr. Tolentino grew up with a deep appreciation for resilience, gratitude, and opportunity. His parents worked tirelessly to build a better life in the United States, instilling in him the values of discipline, humility, and service to others. These early experiences shaped his commitment to helping people move better, overcome challenges, and live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Dr. Tolentino has extensive training in orthopedic, sports, and functional movement rehabilitation. With a strong background in cycling performance, Movement Systems Impairments (MSI), strength training, and movement optimization, he integrates evidence-based practice with practical, individualized treatment strategies.
He has experience working with patients across outpatient orthopedics, sports performance, and home-based rehabilitation settings. His clinical focus includes treating musculoskeletal injuries, helping active adults stay pain-free, and improving movement mechanics for long-term health and performance.
As the owner of Acero Physical Therapy, Dr. Tolentino provides mobile, cash-based concierge care throughout Orange County. His services include personalized physical therapy, strength and conditioning, cycling-specific rehab, and comprehensive bike fitting to reduce pain, improve efficiency, and enhance performance.
