Cyclist Physical Therapy Evaluation & Bike Fitting
Optimize your ride and protect your body with Acero’s Cyclist Physical Therapy Evaluation & Bike Fitting, a comprehensive, one-on-one service delivered at your home. Designed for cyclists experiencing knee, hip, back, shoulder, or recurring discomfort, this session combines a full physical therapy evaluation with a cycling-specific bike fit to improve comfort, performance, and injury prevention.
This comprehensive session includes:
Full physical therapy evaluation
Cycling-specific bike fit performed on the bike you bring to the session
Post-fit measurements and recommendations you can reference for other bicycles
Personalized mobility and strength guidance
Follow-up instructions to prevent injury, reduce pain, and improve performance
During the session, I will:
Ask you about your past experiences/history and goals.
Assess mobility, strength, posture, mobility and functional movement patterns relevant to cycling
Identify the root cause of pain, tightness, or recurring injuries
Analyze your bike setup—including saddle height, cleat position, handlebar reach, and more—tailored to your body and riding style
Create a customized plan integrating corrective exercises, mobility strategies, and bike adjustments to enhance performance and reduce injury risk
Perform the bike fitting based on findings
Why this is better than a regular bike fit or standard physical therapy:
Integrated approach: Unlike standard bike fitting, I evaluate your movement, strength, and biomechanics to ensure your bike setup supports your body and prevents injury.
Beyond traditional PT: Unlike clinic-based PT, I incorporate cycling-specific adjustments and performance insights into your rehab plan.
Home convenience: No travel, no crowded clinics. Sessions are performed in your home or garage, using your actual bike, environment, and equipment for the most accurate and practical adjustments.
Cash-Based, Concierge Service:
All services are cash-based and not billed to insurance, delivered in a convenient home setting. Referrals to other healthcare providers are provided if findings fall outside the scope of physical therapy.
Equipment availability may be limited. Adjustments are restricted to the bike you bring and the tools/equipment available on-hand at the time of the session. You can provide other parts and equipment - such as new saddle or different stem length - we can use for the session.
Additional Time: If more evaluation or bike fit work is needed beyond the initial session, additional time is billed.
